FenCon is now at the recently-renovated Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Dallas Near the Galleria! Rooms are available at the special FenCon rate of $139 per night. (Plus taxes.)

Book your room today! Our room block closed on Friday, February 2, but there may still be some rooms available at the convention rate. Click the "book your room" rate or call 972-385-9000. Be sure to mention FenCon.

Onsite noms: The hotel offers three options for food: The Chef's Table offers a breakfast buffet from 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM Mon-Fri, and 7:00 AM - 12:00 Noon Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast is $17 per person (plus tax and gratuity). The Terrace Bar and Grill serves food from 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM. For those other munchie attacks, check out the Cyber Cafe' (with Starbucks coffee and freshly-baked pastries available from 6:30 AM - 11 AM) and the grab-and-go options near the front desk.

Stay connected: The hotel provides free basic wi-fi connections in the lobby and restaurant areas. (Basic wi-fi will let you browse the web and check emails.) Wi-Fi in guest rooms is available to Hilton Honors members. (You can join for free!)  Please note: The Doubletree offers free parking. All guest rooms and public areas are 100% non-smoking. The hotel does allow pets. Please contact them directly for fees.

Accessibility: The hotel has accessible rooms available, plus rooms for hearing-impaired. Service animals are allowed. Please see the hotel web site for all room features available.

Mobility assistance devices: Neither FenCon or the hotel provide any mobility assistance devices. We recommend AABCO - Ready Rental and Repair. (Call 972-412-3500 and ask for Cindy.)

"How do I book a room at the FenCon rate?" Please use the FenCon hotel reservation link (see the top of the page) to get the special FenCon rate, or call 972-385-9000 and ask for the FenCon rate. Our rates are $139 for a standard guest room at single through quadruple occupancy.

"How do I get to the hotel?" From DFW Airport, take I-635 East to Midway Road. Take a U-turn and keep right to fork off to Valley View Lane. It comes up pretty fast, and will be right after the Wendy's. You'll see the hotel on your right. From points east take 635 West to the Midway Road exit. Again, keep right and follow the directions above. From Midway Road south of 635, go under the freeway, turn left, and follow the directions. From Midway road North, turn right on 635 and follow the above directions. We do not recommend Midway Road north of 635 due to road construction. "Can my group throw a room party?" Yes! Please watch this space and social media for updates.

"I live locally, why should I stay at the hotel?" You are supporting the convention. We need to reach a certain number of 'room nights' to keep the cost of the convention space as low as possible. It's safer. You don't have to worry about driving home after a long day at the con. You have a place to crash during the day, a place to change outfits, and a place to store your many purchases from the dealers room.

"Where can I get a meal?" The hotel restaurant and bar serves good food, and there's a breakfast buffet! In addition, there may be some grab-and-go options by the Front Desk. Nearby (north of 635, and within walking distance) are Wendy's, Taco Bell, and Saltgrass Steakhouse. Luby's Cafeteria is a short drive. There are other options south of 635 including a Walmart should you need sundries or to stock up for your room party.
